After many requests, we are excited to offer our first class on fermentation taught by Karen Diggs of Kraut Source! Karen will introduce students to the history, health benefits and wonderful flavors of fermented foods. She will lead hands-on instruction of sauerkraut preparation and demonstrate other items (including cocktails!) that can be made at home.
Students will take home their own jar of sauerkraut and Karen’s tried & true recipes. The day also includes a walking farm tour, lunch made by The Fork, and a focused cheese tasting complete with fermented pairings.
