Chief Fermentation Officer Karen Diggs will speak on the basics of fermentation, the rich cultural history of fermentation and the many health benefits derived from fermenting foods and beverages.

Demonstration on jar fermentation recipes for soft (cabbage) and solid (cauliflower or beets etc) vegetables. We will also discuss the many popular fermented beverages including kombucha and kefir!

Participants will make their own kraut with a selection of spices to "sexy up" your ferments!
