This concoction is perfect for your Thanksgiving or other festive gatherings. It's gently spirited, sweetly spiced, and cultured.
1 oz. fermented brine from Raw Cranberry-Apple Chutney
1 oz. high-quality rum
(I used a hand-crafted spiced rum from Humboldt Distillery)
2 oz. cranberry juice, unsweetened
1 Tablespoon maple syrup
squeeze of fresh lime juice
1. Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously 30 times.
2. Strain into a glass with ice cubes.
3. Garnish with 3 - 4 fermented cranberries from the Raw Cranberry-Apple Chutney, and twist of lime.
